Kate Attends her Second Trooping of the Colour in Erdem

Thousands turned out for the Trooping the Colour parade - a traditional military display of pomp and pageantry - to see Guardsmen and the senior royals in their finery. It is also an enactment of the traditional preparations for battle when the Colours, or flags of a regiment were “trooped” down the ranks in order to be recognised by soldiers.

Kate watching the proceedings alongside Camilla and Prince Harry as William arrived on horseback to take part in the parade as Colonel of the Irish Guards.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a bespoke embroidered pale silver-grey, silk Erdem dress and a matching Jane Corbett hat.

The embroidery on the dress was quite intricate and absolutely gorgeous!

  1. Those are really lovely items these royalties put together. I bet they also come with a very high price.
