Their first stop is at Emirates Arena in Glasgow. The Emirates Arena is one of the venues for events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. They will tour the arena, including the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, where they watched riders in a practice session. They also met Games organisers and budding athletes, before unveiling a commemorative plaque to mark their visit.

Despite the chilly weather, Kate wore a short tartan coat by Gloucestershire-based designers Moloh. The £425 blue and grey plaid 'Workers' coat is 100% wool - perfect for a cold day in Glasgow. The coat featured silver buttons, a flared skirt and a short hemline.
